Play Games | Local Football Teams Face Play-in Games Friday

The tip 4 teams in Region 3-A (East) have play-in matchups with 3-A (West) squads. Even undefeated Savannah Christian, the No. 1 seed from Region 3-A (East) has to win its diversion against Treutlen County to attain the postseason. Calvary Day, the second seed from Region 3-A, hosts Portal, whilst No. 3 seed Bryan County travels to Johnson County in a win-or-go home game.

South Effingham hosts Glynn Academy in a 2-AAAA play-in diversion Friday night. Effingham County hosts Liberty County in the last diversion of the period for both teams, whilst Richmond Hill’s last diversion will be at Evans.

In Region 3-AAAAA, Camden County, Windsor Forest and Beach have clinched 3 of the 4 state playoff berths. Benedictine (4-5, 4-2 in zone play) and Groves (6-3, 4-3) encounter Thursday night with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. at Garden City Stadium in a fighting is to other postseason berth.

The Beach-Camden game, originally scheduled for Thursday in Savannah, has been changed to Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Camden.
